Three Dover artists will share their creations at Lucy's Art Emporium this November. The Feathers & Fur show is an artistic homage to the birds and animals that capture our collective imagination. Caryn Lynn Duncan, Taylor Rose and Daisy Adams will bring their subjects to life in various media.
Local artist and teacher Caryn Lynn Duncan (owner of Creative Spirit Art Studio) has created masterful mixed media pieces in her signature vibrant colors. Caryn's birds are a perennial favorite.
Taylor Rose is making her first appearance at Lucy's with an amazing series of owl paintings. Taylor's attention to detail and delicate color draw the viewer into a world of clever owls perched against starry skies. Taylor will also show a companion series of handpainted bird houses inspired by each owl painting.
Daisy Adams takes a departure from her usual Roadside scenes to create whimsical wall art and hanging banners from felt. Inspired by her talented grandmother, Adams has always been a seamstress and takes this opportunity to blend her loves of art and sewing. Her pieces have a slightly retro feel with quirky animals in over-the-top colors.
The show will run from November 1st through the 30th with an opening reception on Thursday November 3rd from 5-7 PM. All are welcome to attend this free event, enjoy light refreshments and meet the artists!
